The Moving Academy is a non-profit organisation in the fields of art and culture, education and learning. We develop programmes for the young generation and persons in transition in their vocational life and in change processes. In all we support the exchange and interaction of generations and cultures.
One of our characteristics is our work with body-orientated approaches, meaning somatics and embodiment. They are based on contemporary and traditional body-mind practices as well as artistic performance practices and are recognised neuro-physiological and sociological foundations for learning and human development.
The provided impulses and programmes promote reflection, learning, action and creativity on shared issues and questions in local, international and global contexts. The approaches of The Moving Academy offer inspiration and concrete tools to stimulate personal development and vocational life-paths. They offer support in finding orientation and perspectives in uncertainty and crises. We provide support with approaches that are as direct and easy to implement as possible, in order to support meaningful action and creative, likewise realistic, future-orientated activities by the individuals and collectives involved.
In the growing challenges and complex dynamics and shifts of our societies, we develop and collaborate with an experienced and dynamic team that has many years of expertise in accompanying and supporting individuals and communities, civil society organisations as well as cultural and educational institutions.
The Moving Academy and its actors are engaged in various free, civil and institutional contexts of culture and art, learning, education and transformation. Transdisciplinarity and diversity are an inherent and fundamental aspect of our work and programmes. The core values of all our activities are oriented in the human rights.

The Moving Academy ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation in den Bereichen Kunst und Kultur, Bildung und Lernen. Wir entwicklen Angebote für Jugendliche und Menschen im Übergang ins Berufsleben und in Veränderungsprozessen. Dabei fördern wir den Austausch und das Zusammenwirken von Generationen und Kulturen.
Ein Charakteristikum ist die Arbeit mit Somatics und Embodiment, also körperorientierten Ansätzen sowie künstlerischen Ansätzen aus den Performing Arts. Sie basieren auf anerkannten, neuro-physiologisch und soziologisch fundierten Grundlagen für Lernen und menschliche Entwicklung.
Die angebotenen Impulse und Programme fördern das Reflektieren, Lernen, Handeln und Gestalten in lokalen, internationalen und globalen Kontexten. Die Ansätze der Moving Academy bieten Inspiration und konkrete Werkzeuge, um persönliche Entwicklung und sinnerfüllte Berufswege anzuregen. Sie bieten Unterstützung, um in Unsicherheit und Krisen Orientierung zu finden und Perspektiven zu entwicklen. Unsere Ansätze sind möglichst direkt und einfach umzusetzen, um ein sinnvolles Handeln zu unterstützen und realistische, zukunftsorientierte Aktivitäten der Beteiligten zu ermöglichen.
In den wachsenden Herausforderungen und komplexen Dynamiken und Veränderungen unserer Gesellschaften, arbeiten wir mit einem erfahrenen Team von Persönlichkeiten, die über langjährige Erfahrung in der Begleitung und Unterstützung von Individuen und Gemeinschaften, Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft sowie Kultur- und Bildungseinrichtungen verfügen.
Die Moving Academy und ihre Akteure sind in verschiedenen freien, zivilen und institutionellen Kontexten der Kultur und Kunst, des Lernens, der Bildung und der Transformation aktiv. Transdisziplinarität und Diversität sind dabei ein inhärenter und grundlegender Aspekt unserer Arbeit und Programme. In den Grundwerten all unserer Aktivitäten orientieren wir uns an den Menschenrechten.
