Civil Society 4.0 - Refugees and Digital Self-Organization on March 3th to 5th 2016 at Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin:

A working conference to discuss, define and research the gaps and missing links between needs and offers in the actual situation of the new arriving refugees. It was open and free to all interested new arrivers, social activists and members of the civil society with and without refugee background. A relevant event and encounter for all members of society.

The central question was: What tools are needed for self-organization?

Workshop: Embodiment 4.0

On saturday march 5th 2016 from 4 - 5.30 pm at Auditorium, Haus der Kulturen der Welt

The central question „What tools does it need for self-organization?“ is translated into the analogue realm: An empowerment training based on body-mind practices, social technologies and tools to integrate mental, physical and emotional potentials, reduce stress and built clarity and inner strength. We are focussing on resilience as a basic factor for personal mastery and self-organization in situations of essential insecurity and crises. The workshop shares and explores how to keep, enhance and regain trust and courage to act sense-fully and on a daily basis in the actual state of social dynamics that newcomers and locals experience these days in Berlin.

We invite you to be part of this exchange and look forward to meet and connect on the practice floor.

Free entry - please arrive 15min in advance for registration

"Since the summer of migration in 2015, self-organization has prevented Germany from entering into a humanitarian crisis. The last few months have shown how empowerment and digital tools are essential to keep self-organization going. From March 3 to 5 2016, experts, activists, and supporters gathered in Berlin at the Congress “Civil Society 4.0.—Refugees and Digital Self-organization.” Together, they have developed the following Eleven Recommendations to Organize Change."
