FIELD MEETING / FELDTREFFEN
Composition & Improvisation in Shared Spaces
FELDTREFFEN is a collective space, an artistic incubator and a meeting place for active practitioners of improvisation and composition. The format provides a simple and clear framework for individual working processes and integrates the essential needs for intensity, openness, exchange and collective practice. We move within and alongside our artistic peers and in contact with the location, its surroundings and possibilities.
The collective artist residency has been in existence since 2021. Each event is organised collectively and follows a simple structure comprising impulse sessions, practice sessions, reflection and free time. The venue for FELDTREFFEN 2026 is situated amidst woods, fields and lakes, and offers a studio barn, various workspaces, an old castle nursery with a terraced garden, and the fieldstone church for site-specific compositions.
